This Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast is a hearty and comforting meal that cooks itself pretty much. This dish is a family favorite because it has tender beef, tasty vegetables, and savory gravy.
Ingredients:
- 3 lb beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 4 potatoes, cubed
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Add salt and pepper to the beef chuck roast
Season the roast and put it in the slow cooker
Cut up an onion, mince some garlic, slice some carrots, and cut up some potatoes
Soy sauce, dried thyme, dried rosemary, and beef broth should all be mixed together in a bowl
Put the roast and vegetables in the slow cooker
Then pour the mixture over them
For 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high, cover and cook until the meat is soft
The roast and vegetables should be taken out of the slow cooker once they are done
Cut up the roast and serve it with the sides
If you want to make gravy, you can thicken the cooking liquid
